Large front parking area, fits 4 cars. No RV's or travel trailers.

Our home welcomes children and babies, but is not "baby proof". We don't offer any baby furniture such as portable cribs or highchairs. 

Lockbox code will be sent closer to arrival date.
Please inspect the home upon check-in and notify us if any damage or problems.


Children always welcome. Baby gate on stairs to basement but not up to loft. No "baby proofing" such as hidden cords or outlet plugs. There are cleaners/chemicals under all the sinks and cabinets are NOT locked. You are responsible for supervising children.

No events, and we do not allow all your friends and family who have rented another home to come "hang out" at our home. Limit is 10 at all times for insurance and licensing purposes. 

Small kitchen appliances: rice maker, blender, griddle, crock pot, toaster, microwave, coffee grinder, coffee maker with filters, Cuisinart food processor, hand mixer, 12 oz. pack of locally roasted coffee beans.

Fish right from the house with private river access at our door, extra propane bottles on deck so the Weber grill doesn't run out of propane.

We do NOT allow animals of any kind in our home due to severe allergies. This includes service animals. If an animal is seen at the home your party will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given. 

Each bathroom has a supply of band aids and triple antibiotic and hydrocortisone packets if you need them. Some basic toiletries are there in case you forgot, use the honor system, only take what you need. We would like to continue to offer for emergencies since it's a long drive to town. 

Please use the driveway or area away from home if you must smoke or vape. As always dispose of your butts in a responsible way. Please don’t toss into sage or grass, this is a high fire danger area!

Direct TV in all rooms except Bedroom #3 Queen main floor room is a smart TV only, Bluetooth sound bar for use for music or TV, Apple TV, Netflix, DVD player. All TV's are Smart TV's so you can sign into your apps from home. Bose Bluetooth speaker in Game room. ***STARTING IN  2026, there will be NO Satellite Direct TV, all TV's will be Smart TV's for your app login. 

My husband, Randy, and I built this custom log home in Montana on the Madison River in 2014. It is our favorite place to get away from the hustle of work life in Santa Cruz, CA. Randy is a retired firefighter and I am a Registered Nurse (still working). We love to fly fish, hike, nature watch, and gather with family and friends.
